The 'Quit' Button
People say, 'Life is like a game', but i say, 'Life is short'.
Life isn't like a game. Because in a game, when things get hard, or when you lose, all you need to do is press the 'quit' button, and all is forgiven. You start out fresh again, play the same game again, lose again, then start out new again.
What makes us, humans, treasure our life the most? Why do we all want to succeed in life? Why do we want to become better people? Why do we push ourselves to get the best?
Because any moment could be our last. Because we want to make the most out of our life before its too late. Because if we die before our time, we would miss out on so many things we could have done.
This is why life is so beautfiful. This is why we treasure life so much, because we are human, weak, and susceptible to factors far greater than the capacity and control of humanity.
Because there is no knowing when we might leave, that is why life is so beautiful, and that is why we should all value our life.
Somtimes I wonder what it would be like if we knew when our time was up. If we knew we could live for another 100 years, would we all(humans) work as hard? Would it matter if we didn't? If we knew that we would die tomorrow, would we prepare for it? Would we want to do good so we can go into Heaven?
Life has no 'quit' button. When you lose, when you fall, when you fail, you live with it. You stand up, you try again, you learn from your mistakes, you value life, and keep fighting.
Because it could be all over the next second.
'Life is like a game', you say.
But if it is, it is a game I don't want to play.
The 'Quit' Button just doesn't work that way.

did you try the restart button?
One too many times.
life is not without its ups and downs,
for life is,well, life.
Life,Depending on your pespective, may have differing natures,
but to me,
it is short and sharp, yet the taste of it is often nullified by the ever present threat of death.
Did King solomon not say:" All is emptiness, Life is emptiness, for it passes at the blink of an eye".
cherish your life.
It is no more longer than a blink of an eye.
maybe i would blog anout this.
=)
